Wow! Garlic is one of the best ways to make food be your medicine. We use it all year round in our soups, sauces, omelets, and pasta dishes.

Try it as a specific medicine for sore throats: suck on a clove overnight for its localized antibiotic effect. Or a respiratory infection: add fresh minced garlic to a strong broth. Or ear aches: gently infuse olive oil with fresh chopped garlic, strain and cool to blood-warm, then insert oil drops in both ears.

The many compounds found in garlic work synergistically to help reduce blood pressure and blood sugar, relieve asthma and bronchitis, and improve circulation and heart function. All this for simply eating good!

You can plant any of our hardneck garlic varieties as well as include this herb in many wonderful garlic recipes.

Rocambole: Our largest bulbs year after year have a zesty flavor that pleases all garlic lovers! Russian Red will do well in any garden with a loamy soil. Phillips offers modest heat with singular clove genetics.

Purple stripe: Substantial cloves peel readily, and have a gentle amount of heat. Siberian is especially noted for its high allicin content.

Porcelain: These finer European varieties are delicate & creamy when baked. Tight white wrappers (on Brazil nut-size cloves!) make these the longest keepers. Georgia Fire is a white beauty with surprising heat.
